Badnjak: je drvo, od hrasta (duba) veličine cjepanice. Drvo Badnjak ili Badnjaci (riječ je o tri drveta koja se u kuću unose na Badnju večer) usječeno na Badnje jutro stavlja se na ulazu u kuću uza zid, prislonjeni, tu stoje cijeli dan, sve dok ne počne obredunošenja u kuću.

Veličina Badnjaka: U prijašnja vremena Badnjak je bio neodređene debljine i duljine jer se stavljao na ognjište pa je mogao biti deblji i dulji. U novije vrijeme dimenzije Badnjaka su onolike koliki Badnjak može stati u šporet.
